Machine Rental
Are you interested in renting a longarm machine to finish your quilt tops? Lady of the Lake will train you to use a machine (see Classes) and offers an easy machine rental option with with hours to fit your schedule.
About the Machine
Lady of the Lake quilting studio uses an APQS (American Professional Quilting Systems) Millennium long arm quilting machine. It is equipped with state-of-the-art features, including a stitch regulator, which will result in quality stitching and reduce the time it takes you to quilt your project.
How to Get Started
Step One: Take Training Class
Sign up for the three hour Beginning Longarm: Basics & Meandering Class or provide proof of prior
training.
Step Two: Purchase Zippers (Available during training class for $27)
Zippers are pinned or basted to the backing and top fabric of the quilt, so that the project can be zipped
on and off the machine as needed. Use of zippers eliminates paying for rental time to load/unload your
quilt project.
Step Three: Schedule Appointment
Call 218-393-8576 or e-mail to schedule a rental appointment to quilt your
top. An instructor will be available to assist you during your rental time. Minimum rental time is 2 hours.
Appointments are available Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm (closed Sundays).
Deposit Required: To reserve your spot, 50% of rental fee must be received one week prior to the appointment. Cancellation Policy: A full refund, minus $5 registration fee, will be made if you cancel up to one week prior to the appointment. If cancellation is received less than one week prior, the deposit minus $5 registration fee will be returned if the rental spot is able to be filled.

Rental Rate (Operate machine with assistance): $15 per hour
Consultation Rate (Training during rental time): $20 per hour
